The Raptors stormed out of the gates and never looked back cruising to a 103-84 victory over the Wizards which snapped their 4 game win streak. Kyle Lowry had a triple double and his back court mate DeMar Derozen led all scorers with 25 points.

John Wall came out and shot two air balls to open the game and that pretty much summed up the Wizards tonight on offense who shot 36% from the field and 15% from three point range. The shots were falling for the raptors as they shot 55% in the first quarter and stormed out to a 28-18 lead.

The Raptors had a very balanced attack this evening. Terrance Ross came out smoking hot hitting his first four shots and ending the first quarter with 11 points. The bench for the Wizards played quite well. Otto Porter led all Wizards scorers with 13 points (7 in garbage time) but no Wizards starter scored in double figures. The starters have to play better, plain and simple. The starters shot 11-48 from the field including 1-12 from 3 point range. The roller coaster that is Nene continued today. He’s aggressive and attacks the hoop but is always complaining and always looking for calls. If he doesn’t get them, this often leads to bad shots or turnovers. Also, he shot a horrific 3-8 from the free throw line. The bench was the only bright spot this evening scoring 50 of the 84 points. The best news this evening is that the Wizards have a game tomorrow. Wiz fall to 4-2.
